You know what's funny though, is that UTF-8 is Android's default character encoding. When I was originally developing GR, I had to implement some stuff to force the app to read pages and send input using the old ASCII style encoding GFAQs used since the beginning. It was never perfect and is why there would occasionally still be the random or other accented characters when you'd copy + paste + post from a UTF-8 encoded source.

Are you using Gboard? Because that only brings up the keyboard resizing menu.
