How would you rate this series?

I think someone did a similar series with individual games, but I don't remember if they did whole game series. Either way I'm bored and need something to do.

What would you give this series? I haven't played them so I won't vote.

It's had some (very)low points but the high points are usually some of the best games out there. I haven't played RE7 but hopefully that game puts the series back on track.

I give it a 6. There are a lot of things about the series I don't like, and I think that the series that came before (Alone in the Dark) and after (Silent Hill) which are similar in nature do the whole survival horror a lot better. Still, the RE games that are good are certainly worth playing if you are a fan of the genre, and I think the new one is excellent.

tried the free* re from plus awhile back. i always thought they were zombie horror shooters. turns out they are crappy hide and seek for item games. go find object a, to unlock room b, that gets you an object to unlock room a, etc...

no clue how people like that crap...

There are a couple decent ones but most don't hold up in really any terms

The controls are bad, the story is uninspired, the characters are two dimensional, they're basically just B-movies where you control a character.
