greatatemi 10/05/17 9:16:41 AM #3:	Console players are port beggars too, but the difference is that Sony and Microsoft can pay devs to port their pc games to consoles(see Blizz, Firaxis etc), while on pc, no one can do that, and we have to rely on devs to realize that they could sell lots of copies if they would release their games to pc. <cite>greatatemi posted [p:887851355] in Console pe... Dikitain 10/05/17 9:46:20 AM #4:	I find myself wishing that a lot of games AREN'T ported to PC due to how much the devs fuck up the port. And this is coming from a person who games 95% on a PC. I am one of the rare people that wish we would go back to the days of mostly exclusives with only a handful of multi-plats. --- I am a senior software engineer. It is their money and I have no right to tell them how they should spend it but my friends and I have had many of fun times playing console games when we hang out. Getting together for a LAN party on the fly ain't that easy with desktops. When it comes to port beggars, many of fun series have eventually gotten on to the PC (i.e. Dark Souls) thanks for these folks petitioning and whatnot for these ports. The Dark Souls port was as simple as possible and even the tool tips referred to the PlayStation controls but that game was still really fun regardless. --- "You must gather your party before venturing forth" "Go for the eyes Boo!
