Normally, this wouldn't be an issue, but for about half a year they've been removing good content and, aside from originals, added pretty much nothing but crap. If they lose Star Trek I'll probably drop the service.

yeah my boyfriend and i were saying that we think they're gonna turn into a service that hosts pretty much only original content pretty soon. which i guess is alright? idk hulu doesn't have too many good movies though so idk where we'll get our movies from outside of illegal means.

I've been saying for past 3-4 months that Hulu is becoming the new Netflix. They've literally stolen a bunch of great shows that Netflix has recently lost. And their movies aren't half bad either

The price of the basic plan, which costs $7.99 monthly and delivers standard definition video to one screen, remains the same.

Basic is still cheap.

Actually, the only person breaking the law is YouTube by hosting it.

You didn't download it to your hard drive so you didn't pirate anything. Legally, anything in your RAM isn't considered a "copy in your possession".

It's still dirt cheap so I don't care all that much, but Amazon is looking in prime position to overtake Netflix in the near future. If they had a better way to browse their content, Amazon would be the obvious king of the streaming game.

You can set up a home streaming station that either randomly selects episodes, or picks a random episode of a show and the shows are streamed at set times. You need to provide the episode files, of course.

iirc someone on here had something similar to that

no, it's the person doing the actual streaming. youtube doesn't get in trouble at all, neither can you.

youtube shuts them down all the time, and for every shut down stream, four more appear.
