Felt like it had a lot of weak areas while the original felt absolutely rock solid throughout. I've noticed people saying they loved Merlin's death scene but even that felt like a weak spot to me. The whole country road thing was just a silly gag from earlier in the movie so it didn't feel worthy of a death of a character from the original. Also they dedicated an entire scene to pointing out that the landmines could be turned on and off and then did nothing with it. This was actually filmed and screened for test audiences. They then CG'd him out of every shot at the end, and replaced Mark Strong's head with somebody else's in the wedding scene. Don't know what the point of Channing Tatum and Halle Berry's characters were as they barely contributed anything to the plot. And Merlin and Roxy's deaths both seemed unnecessary, Roxy especially. I seriously kept expecting her to show up again at some point. The final fight was pretty decent though, if nothing else. --- Still the number one reason for the success of the Internet.
