by me, yes

it asked me if I wanted to sync the local save to the cloud or keep the cloud one

i fucked up and told it to sync the local one, but this wasn't the main Xbox I played it on. this one only ever played it offline because the wireless card in it is bunk.

This is why I save RPGs across multiple files, to avoid the risk of losing everything if one save gets accidentally deleted or corrupted.

Of course, that wouldn't have prevented this specific problem, but I loathe cloud saving so much I never use it anyway.

Sure, the PS4 and Xbox One has ports, but you're not enjoying the benefits of the save game data from previous games (even if minor).

Witcher 1 is a PC exclusive. Witcher 2 is best played on PC (since it got its content updated to match the Xbox 360 rerelease, while still keeping graphics that hold up to this very day)?

Witcher 3 uses game saves from both.
