Really loved the first movie hopefully this one is just as good if not better. John Boyega and Clint Eastwood's son Scott are both in the movie so that should be interesting, John is playing the son of the captain from the first one.

this one is not made by the same director. and the mechs look too agile. I want them to be more slow and heavy like in the first one. also, I didn't see the 2 heroes in the trailer. someone told me that the Japanese girl is there and she's now a teacher for new recruits. but the white guy is missing. the actor didn't return and he's not in the movie. this is bullshit. those 2 were the main characters, the heroes of earth, and they are a bonded pair. it's total shit to only have one of them. and the one isn't even fighting anymore she's just a teacher. this sucks

Del Toro is still making it and I believe ten years passed and the world put all their stuff into basically the EDU which would make better mechs. I'm hoping to see flying ones.

I like the style of the heavy mechs though. I don't want new sleek models.

Glad they have a new cast, the first movie was fun in a hokey kinda way, but aside from Idris Elba and Charlie Day the acting was beyond terrible
