What movie comes to mind when you think of Cate Blanchett?

NrKJdJL

Her IMDB page:
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000949/

I'm excited for Thor. I don't know much about Blanchett but she looks like she'll be good for the role. I feel like her role in Lord of the Rings is probably the big one for her but I haven't seen Lord of the Rings. I do like How to Train Your Dragon but I... didn't really care who played his mom... I guess.

So I guess I'll go with Hela in Thor 'cause I didn't really think about her before that.

Any nominations going forward would be cool. I have a big list of 'em now but if you suggest someone on there they can move up the rankings and come sooner. Also, if you have any input on how to improve the topic, let me know.

Hmm...I guess Galadriel. I had her mixed up with Kate Winslet at first.

Not gonna lie, I'm about to go to sleep and I read her name as Claire Danes so no character came to mind except Claire Danes' hotness.

But now that I know who is actually being asked about.

In the place of a Dark Lord you would have a Queen! Not dark but beautiful and terrible as the Morn! Treacherous as the Seas! Stronger than the foundations of the Earth! All shall love me and despair!

Also, I didn't know she was playing Hel or Hela or whatever her name is going to be in Thor Ragnarok. That's just making me think the character is going to be even more awesome!!!

Queen Elizabeth I, particularly her self pro-claimed 'virginal', aggressive, fashionista war queen form in the sequel.

She basically shouted for two hours, at war with the lavish costumes and scenery porn. And the Oscars still threw her a second nomination for the same role.

No role immediately jumps to mind but, out of what I've seen, probably Galadriel. Probably Hela whenever I see the new Thor, though.

http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000949/

Apparently she appeared in the original version Rake, so I have that to look forward to that whenever I get around to binging the show. (Enjoyed the US version, was disappointed it ended early.)

First to come to mind was Queen Elizabeth from "Elizabeth" and "Elizabeth: The Golden Age".

Which is weird, since I haven't seen either movie.

And is that really Cate Blanchett as Hela? When I saw the previews, I thought it was Famke Janssen for some reason.
