I sometimes omit the word "not", or I say something similar enough, or a word that looks sort of the same, but is something different entirely.

The latter is how I sort of think I might have scared or creeped somebody out today.

Take that sentence for example. You meant that in a negative context, but you type "I honestly understand what you're getting at" instead.

i'm actually worse about adding a word that doesn't belong at all. comes from my mind shifting gears so to speak mid sentence and me not proof reading.

I think that sometimes about myself not from what I type but i'm real bad about having to do a double take after reading something because I thought it said something else. usually seeing something sexual or "offensive" when its actually not there at all.
