Maybe they have faith in the judicial system once their job is finished that justice will be served, well justly. Arresting someone for one pot possession is their job. Just like the officer that wrote me up for an expired tag even though it was a company truck and he knew it would go on my record not the company insurance. In the end, because of my good driving record coupled with the fact the judge recognized that fact, cut the fine in half and told me to just be better aware of it even if it is not my responsibility.

I did this (not on purpose, but because I was off the grid for a few days far north) and it got up to about 180 before it died.. But ONLY because UnfairRepresent wouldn't shut up about something he was wrong about, and nobody would let him off the hook about it

People get jailed for it all of the time. I am not talking about getting sentenced. I hear nightly on the news around here (Flint/Detroit) about people getting pulled over and taken into custody, whether they were smoking it or not, for having marijuana on them (all kinds of varying amounts). Even if they are selling it to others, that is unjust. Why should selling marijuana be illegal?

You legitimately need me to explain to you the ethical issues with people selling marijuana in an unregulated black market, where no one is monitoring whether or not the product is laced with other chemicals or compounds?

Most people "jailed" for marijuana are actually jailed for other reasons, and the drug charge just makes the news because it's a more interesting story. Not to mention, if you're smoking marijuana or have recently smoked marijuana and are in control of a motor vehicle on a public roadway, you're getting a DUI charge.

Which means you're taken into custody and getting your blood drawn.

But it's clear you don't actually have a logical and cohesive argument. You're basically just playing contrarian, with still no basis for anything you're saying.
