Most atheists piss their pants moments before they die and try to convert during the last second out of fear of the unknown. That's pretty telling, to be honest. IIRC Charles Darwin was one famous example of this.

I find it funny that as opposed as the two sides are, the really devout/militant people are 99% identical. One just says there is something. The other says there isn't.

Personally, I don't care what anyone believes or doesn't believe in. I have a pretty diverse group of friends. Some of us are religious. Some of us aren't. But we just hang out and have fun and enjoy each others company. Sometimes there is even religious discussion, but never fighting. Never anger. No one forces anything.

I agree that religion is the easiest subject to troll, regardless of which one it is or isn't.
In my experience, pagans and Buddhists seem to be the most chill about it though.

there was I guess he's dead now though. he was the founder of the church of satan, which he himself admitted was just atheism with gothic window dressing. basically they where a more serious Rastafarian in that they only did what they did to mock organized religion.

some of them can get quite pissy to unreasonable ends. seen an argument ensue over a simple "bless you" after said atheist sneezed, and it was one of his own friends.

Atheist extremists

I'm not at all religious, but I still tell people Merry Christmas and whatnot. If someone wishes you well, in a religious way or otherwise, just say "thank you" and move on with your life. (All this Merry Christmas vs Happy Holidays nonsense I see on Facebook every December is soooo annoying)
