Board 8 > Has anyone ever APPEALED a moderation to the ADMIN before????

Appealing to an admin is very risky and you wouldn't be able to dispute any moderation for 3 MONTHS even if the moderation should have disappeared in a short period of time..like an NKL.it will just stay there for 3 months!

so has anyone had the guts to do it before?...

I've had lead mods overturn moderations, but it's common sense that the admins wouldn't go over lead mods, so I don't bother appealing to admin. It's how delegation works - just like how the boss of a company will side with middle management over a nobody employee. If anyone's ever had one overturned by admin, I'd love to hear your story.

Have had admin overturn mine before and my current moderation will be overturned by the admin. Waste of time figuring both were NKL. But, can't let the Liberals censor me.

My last overturned one by lead admin was a moderation because I said "If you are going to save lives save the right lives". It took the 2nd appeal for the admin to understand the context of my post in regards to kids with epipens and drug addicts ODIng. Took a Titanic and LOTR reference in my argument to cement the appeal.

I mean, initial mod cupheld. 2nd mod upheld. Lead administrator overturned.

It was clearly not a moderation. I get a lot of moderations overturned because they are just mass marked by liberals because it is not a liberal comment. Usually takes the 2nd mod to overturn but every once in awhile you get 2 liberal mods in a row who can't separate politics from their duties and have to go higher.

One of my moderations was from defending you when people called you names in that one topic not too long ago. I was marked for "offensive" after people called you forms of stupid or something, and I defended you.

Was overturned also.

Every single opportunity I get. Most recently I called I a certain really tough user capable of giving and receiving critique an idiot for eating bloody chicken wings. Each moderation I kept increasing how he wasn't just an idiot but 'a ridiculous fucking idiot' or whatever until I appealed to the admin asking when the next contest is.

Apparently whenever someone asks Allen when the contest is he delays it one more month m

i've contested plenty of moderations, but either they got overturned or i was ok with the explanation the mod gave me. never felt the need to appeal to an admin.
