Really? Because seeing so many people I know be so open and vulnerable regarding something so deeply personal has helped me be able to talk more openly about my own trauma. That's the whole point. Solidarity. That is raising awareness.

Lots of women will repeat it because it's a social trend, regardless of whether or not they were actually assaulted.

Quite true, it's a fact that women blatantly follow social trends more than men.

I can't speak for all women, but I know I personally started to get sick of it when my sister posted it, was questioned about it, and then claimed that people talking shit about the Female Ghostbusters was the sexual harassment she experienced.

That really made me cringe.
