>_>

they just released the new plan prices and my plan has gone down by like over $100. i was really skeptical because the benefits looked the same so i called the insurance company and the only differences are:

- copay for urgent care has gone up by $25 (i go maybe 6 times a year at most)
- the deductible is waived for ER visits
- generic medicine copay is $10 now

the plan is $49 now instead of $154

and i did the wellness assessment this year to get a $15 a month discount. so i'm getting my health insurance for $35 a month.

$500 deductible, max $2k out of pocket expenses. insurance covers 80% of everything and i pay 20% up til that $2k then they cover 100% of everything including copays.

i feel like that's too inexpensive >_>

I pay about $36 a month right now I think. I hate my job but it has great benefits.

We just found out we're switching from Anthem BCBS to Cigna, which I don't know if it's better.

In our team meeting they told us to check and make sure if our doctors were still covered. I was the only one in the room that was like "well shit, I guess I should get a doctor".

this one is a local in network hmo so i can only use banner health service providers but it's one of the dominant providers down here so i don't have an issue finding any.

they offer a PPO as well but that has a high deductible so i don't like it

I only pay like 15 bucks a month with wellness, but my deductible is a bitch. I think it's like 3k with a 6k out of pocket.

I don't really care much because I never get sick, but it's still a pain in the ass. My coworkers with families have it much worse.

Yep, I pay $1.29 per month for insurance but I can never, ever get sick or I'll be hacking off limbs to pay the medical bills.
One guy I work with has 8 kids and his insurance costs are basically his entire check. Couldn't imagine.

My company just did that too, mostly due to this:

That's make sense I guess. I literally was sitting on the couch watching tv when Cigna's celebrity doctor commercial came on and I realized that's who I was getting
