I went to chick fil a for breakfast this morning. Some dude right behind me got tired of waiting, so he angrily drove out of the drive-through line over the little curb they have built around it.

Yeah, the one near me is insane as well. Drive-thru is always packed, inside is always packed. Popular police/paramedic location as well.

Two In-N-Outs near me are the same way.

because Chick-Fil-A is easily a top-tier fast-food place. Plus, no matter how long the line, I've never waited more than 5 minutes in line, even when it was literally out the door on one occasion. Somehow, with only 3 registers, they got through about 50 people in under 5 minutes.

I hate going to the one here because the drive-thru line literally wraps around itself and creates a nightmare. I drew this diagram:

Last time I went there was someone outside taking orders before the order box and my order was ready when I got to the window.

I've been to them in a number of different states and it's never a long wait. You must have really bad staff at yours because that food should move quick.

I went to one last weekend and we were the only ones in the drive thru but they were still making some poor girl stand out in the sun taking orders lol

Even funnier but not really...as the person was taking the order, they sounded real feminine and I wasn't looking up, so I said "Yes ma'am." Turned out to be a guy. So I apologize and say "Yes sir" and he replies "No its okay, I do have a very high voice"

I was like o_O. These people are too nice.

The one in NYC goes very fast. I am in and out in 4 minutes.

In college, they had a Chik-fil-a and a Papa John's right next to each other in the student center, and another restaurant on the other side of the building next to a Starbucks.

Chik-fil-a was always by far the busiest.

That third place started as Coyote Jack's, which was awesome but nobody ever went there but me so it closed. Then when it closed, it became a Nathan's, which was incredible but nobody ever went there but me so again it closed.

So finally, they just said screw it, moved Papa John's to the third place, and expanded that Chik-fil-a to the space where Papa John's used to be so it had like 12 ordering lines. And the lines were still out the door.

You're not gonna do much better at FF for a chicken sandwich except at Bojangles, Popeyes and In-n-Out.
