The FedEx man told me yesterday that today would be his last day. His wife is expecting triplets and is going to stay at home to take care of them.
My pupper and the FedEx man have been best friends for over two years now, even when he doesn't have any packages for us he still stops to give her a treat if she's outside when he's on my street. He told me that she looked exactly like a dog that he used to have, so he must have felt a connection to her. He gave her three treats today, as a goodbye present. She jumped up on him a bit but sat like a good girl after the first treat! She drools whenever she sees the FedEx truck and sits down, I wonder how long it will take for this action to go extinct, as I don't expect the next FedEx guy to give her treats (or to use the door that she hangs around). I'll be Ivan Pavloving this for the next few months. ... Copied to Clipboard!
