for miniscule prizes of course. since its almost the world series.

you hadnt have needed to sign up for the last one and this one will require a small level of baseball knowledge. but you can still enter if you choose. my tentative idea will be for entrants to each select a historical baseball team from the early 1900s til today to put in some sort of league ill simulate. so while you dont need a baseball pedigree it would help.

no guarantees of any sort yet but ill try to iron out an idea.

Okay my preliminary idea is to have entrants pick any world series winner(since the WS began) to enter a team into the competition.

Then, I will randomly seed participants in a best of seven(each round) playoff style competition taylored to the number of entrants. the team that wins it all will win a small price(thinking ten dollar amazon GC) and perhaps winners for other awards like MVP and such, too.

I will update detailed recaps/game logs of each game in each series to give you, the fans, some depth. I will only do one playoff "season" and not 100 like before.

Also you can pick teams that do not exist any more, such as the 1905 New York Giants, go ahead.

Also, this is year specific, so if somebody wants the 1927 Yankees and somebody wants the 1928 yankees, both are up for grabs.

in this scenario 2nd place would win the prize if i win

although say I dont get 4, 8 or 16 teams doing a playoff wouldnt be "even" and thus I would need to have a play-in round so to speak. no idea how to make that fair as those teams would have a harder time winning it all with more games to play.

Perhaps I could in that case do a mini regular season with the top X teams going to make it even. I kinda just want a playoff but we'll see.

can pick any world series champ since the world series began. can pick defunct teams and other years for teams such as somebody can have the 2010 giants and another the 2012 giants. first come first serve. no duplicate teams

not sure what era to put the game in since we have teams from the 00s as well as early 1900s. might just have to roll a die on that one i dunno

in thinkin 16 teams(bumping til i get 15 ppl or 16) in a 30gm regular season to figure out seeding then its 1v16 2v15 etc in a playoff with each round being best of seven. winner of it all will win some sort of prize. no idea what yet
