John C Reilly plays her bumbling husband, Wheels, who is so thrilled with the fact that someone can tolerate him that he looks past the fact that she routinely curses others for perceived slights against her. They meet-cute when Grimble drops an armful of chicken bones and baby skulls on the sidewalk, which mingle with the papers that Wheel was rushing to City Hall to request to become nameless.

Dakota Fanning plays Biscuit, stepdaughter to Grimble (the wicked stepmother). CGI is applied to Fanning to make her look younger. But at the end of a day, it's the story of Biscuit and her dog, Idiot, who tragically dies from bone cancer in the first five minutes of the movie due to a botched ritual.

The heartwarming conclusion comes when Grimble manages to neutralize Biscuit's nascent substance abuse problems with a special spell performed to this song, bringing the the family together at last.

In a post-credits sequence, a wave of magic hits Idiot's decaying body, and he is reanimated. The dog revenant cannot bark, but he can speak a single word of English: "Regret". Also he plays basketball.
