Cover was on. But my phone was not charging well before it... and now like can't at all.

Found a S8 Cricket for 530. Cheaper than trading in my s5 to Samsung... hope it works.

Future proofing is a bad idea with phones I feel particularly if you're not maximizing your need for them right now. Cause yeah hardware is gonna fail most often which happens no matter your specs.

But screen is a thing, I guess. I just ask because I don't think you're a mobile gamer and like middle of the line phones can crush anything that isn't a game pretty easily at this point I feel.
