Say I make roughly around $2500/monthly but my baby's mom wants around $700/month?

Will they grant that to her?

I'm worried because $1800/monthly will put me in the poor house and i'm gonna end up moving back in with my dad since I can't afford rent on my own if the judge grants those child support payments

I only wanna pay her $300-500/month. Especially that my income varies monthly and my income will be very little during the slow times (can even be as low as $1800-2000/month) in my work

She claims that the courts never side with the man and that they always benefit the woman and they always screw the man to the point where the judge won't care if I end up homeless paying those child support payments

Any advice would be helpful on this. Thank you.

And you know for sure the child is yours ? If you start paying and 5 years down the road you find out that it is not. You still have to pay.

Most US States have calculators where you put in how much you earn and how often you have the kid etc and they'll tell you how much you will likely have to pay. What State are you in?

my advice is to demand full custody. do everything you can to make her look like a shit mom and you are a paragon of virtue and a model for good fathers everywhere.

While it's true courts usually award custody of kids to mothers, it turns out that in most of those cases, the man doesn't even ask. When the man does demand custody, they have 50/50 win rate.

Although not when the child is young enough to need breastfeeding, in those case it can be set to "mostly with Mother until old enough to eat solids".

Prepare your anus. Prepare it damn good because you're about to get fucked over, for however many years because you made a decision to stay inside.

I live in Canada and the mother of my children receives a monthly payment that is relative to my annual gross income. I think this is how it typically works.

Ive been an adult for 10+ years, moved out quite a few years ago, and they divorced some 20 years ago.

Get a good lawyer.

Unless all people are paying well into their kids adulthood, and in that case, fuck this country.

This is a legal requirement under family law here. It isn't something that can be bargained in a separation or divorce agreement.
