Women's fashion was literally never better than in the 50's. Love it.

I agree! I looove the fashion. But I like cute dresses, etc. If I dress too nice then I look like an oddity.

I do think it'd be neat to have a 50s world where you took out all the sexism, homophobia, and racism.

Like, you'd have the classic one worker, one home maker couple with all the simple trappings and stuff, but then it'd be like, a black and white lesbian couple or something. That'd be awesome.

Exactly, Id be down for something like that. I just find the traditional aspects and fashion endearing. But of course they were definitely dark times in a lot of ways. But if I had some kind of magical button that would transport me to an alternate dimension where life was like the above, Id do it lol.

Oh and when I say food was better, I mean that things were made with more natural ingredients and less chemical crap.

Actually, the fifties is when we started to experiment with prepackaged meals. Spam and similar dishes were actually kind of status sign because it meant you could spend less time on the food prep and cooking and enjoy more leisure time. Baby formula is another example of this. In a way, canned food, and similar pre-prepared food was kind of thought of as the way of the future and a way to liberate stay at home parents (mostly moms) from the drudgery of their daily chores.
