I'm sure when she first showed up, they were probably pronouncing it with the hard U, the way English speakers usually want to. So now they try to correct it by not saying the u at all, as if her name is Aska.

Basically the way to say it is put a little gap between the s and k. You don't really pronounce a u, but you need the gap. It should be three syllables.

asuka doesn't do squash matches. she's not goldberg. she outpaces, out-techniques, out-psyches and out-endures all of her opponents until they lose the will to hang with her and end up submitting to the asuka lock.

she's done it for 700+ days without losing. that's where her credibility comes from. emma getting some offense in on her before tapping out sn't going to damage her, quit overreacting.
