Out of curiosity tc, were there legit garbage topics about him at the time? That may explain why they were so quick to mod that.

the mods were quick on the trigger on election day. I got modded too. I was suspended for 3 months just cause I called Obama lazy. it was half an hour after he was sworn in, and I was making a joke about the people who thought he was the Savior that would fix the planet. he hadn't saved the world yet so I called him lazy, and people called me racist even though that's a mexican stereotype, not black

I remember anticipating the moderation, but said fuck it. There were probably a lot of troll topics. I just thought mine was funny and could get away with it cuz initials.

It's kinda funny if you look at the context. If you randomly called Obama lazy before the electuon, someone might say you're being racist. Because calling someone lazy is a minority stereotype (bootstraps in 2017).

But if you say it after Obama's run, then people might assume it's because you don't agree that he got stuff done.

Its actually a subversion of a racist joke and plays on the expectation of a racist joke. By hanging the anticipation of a racist remark, its a commentary on some peoples conditioning into reactionary behaviour on the topic, showing a mirror to society in where our true prejudices lie. This joke is a tour-de-force and I give it a five star rating.

basically if someone wasn't able to figure out the punchline they might have thought it racist

but then that person should maybe raise their mental capacity so they get jokes quicker

basically anyone can see B.O. is his initials

but the person who didn't see that sits there wondering why Obama would make the whitehouse smell like body odor, which is not what tc said

and then in their inability to figure out the joke reach a bad conclusion that had no basis in the joke

Yes, the joke is not for those light on their culture. Suffice it to say, the petit bourgeois are a little behind when it comes to comedy. To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand 3khc humor...
