Well fuck. It's pretty much the same as the Bridgewater situation with the dislocated knee causing arterial damage. When Bridgewater went down there was talk of it being career ending for him and given all the injuries that Miller's dealt with over the years and his age, I'm guessing that he's not coming back from this.

Jimmy G is the best of the bunch though (aside from Smiff). He might not be great but i'm pretty confident in his ability to be a legit player in the league.
The trade is the only smart move for the Pats if Brady intends on continuing his career. The QB market the way it is, someone is giving Jimmy ~15 mil a year this offseason, and you don't pay a backup QB that kind of money when you're out here trying to win championships. The -only- reason you do that is if you think Brady is retiring or only has one more year left in the tank, AND you intend on continuing your career past Brady's retirement if you're Belichick. If you're intending to hang it up along side him there is zero reason to hold onto Jimmy this year. The charges were dropped entirely.
The NFL wants to be proactive when it comes to sexual assault as an overreaction to their poor reputation in dealing with it in years past, so they don't care if it's ever proven. Just an accusation is enough to suspend them now. --- ... Copied to Clipboard!

Not only we're all charges dropped, the NFLs lead investigator on the incident wrote a report saying the entire story was full of holes and didn't add up. That report was ignored and buried and he was suspended anyway. Then it leaked and is a major part of his case against the NFL.
