Man, I'm exhausted. I spent all my time getting all the Moons from the first three worlds. At first I thought I had the majority of them, and then after spending coins on hints I just kept going and going and going, finding more. Yeesh.

It's actually easier to do with a moped imo. You don't jump as high or for as long, so you don't have to worry about barely tapping the button so you can get your feet on the ground quick enough to jump again. You just have to worry about controlling the moped into the area and get turned so you aren't perpendicular to the rope.

Joy-Cons or Pro Controller? I had trouble hitting 100 until I switched to the Pro.

more pro tipz for minigames

getting to 100 returns in the volleyball minigame is even harder than the jump rope, but if you turn on 2 player mode and just control cappy it's super easy because he's not hindered by the sand like mario is. I was considering trying to make the top 10 leaderboard for that but stopped at like 200 after my cat jumped on my lap

I basically used the same angle MSG has with normal mario. It's all about getting into a rhythm and knowing when to speed up your jumping and slow down. (Tapping A just as the rope is about to smack the ground on your right is usually what you want, if you hit it later than that, you'll want to speed up your next few jumps and if you hit it earlier than that, you'll want to slow down your next one)

Though after awhile the rope becomes mesmerizing and I had to do some blind jumps so I could settle my mind back.

I ended up dying near 800 because my thumb slipped and I couldn't save the disaster of ruining the ladies Jump Rope.

Had a lot of fun in New Donk City. It better be a stage in the next Smash Bros.

Went back to the waterfall area. Whatever the first area where you could actually do anything was. Holy shit even in just that tiny area I found like 12 more moons that I missed the first time and I have a feeling I haven't even scratched the surface. I can't imagine what it'll be like going back to New Donk later in the game. I think I got like 34 from there? Seems like the kind of place where there might be close to 100.

I'm surprised I got all the coins from Lake Kingdom so easily, since I'm still missing some from the other Kingdoms. Also, what's the point of the paintings? They seem really annoying with how they work. Seeing Moons you can't figure out how to reach is frustrating, so the solution being a random area in another world is disappointing. Not to mention you have to load up each world you travel to with the payoff being a very easy to grab Moon. I don't even know what activates them. Some of them I can use and others I can't and I don't know what the requirement is. It seems like there should be more of a point to them.
