- long jump
- throw Cappy
- ground pound into dive jump
- (bounce off Cappy)
- ground pound into another dive jump

The game wont let you repeat the cycle again for infinite jumps :0

Just an amusing tidbit: I just discovered that in addition to being able to play fetch with the dog on the beach using Cappy, the dog will also sleep next to you if you idle long enough for Mario to take a nap.

Yeah I noticed they don't let you throw the game more than twice in the air unless you touch a wall or ground. I love the dive move though

I'm in post-game now, game is fantastic. Making my way through the stages again in order, this time hunting for the post-game moons as well. Getting as much as possible then I'll go through them one last time looking them up. I have 451 moons or something like that at the moment.

Nice! I finished with 250 and up to about 300 now.

It took me forever to realize that her little shuffle that she does when she says "Odyssey ya see" is an homage to her old sprite animation from the arcade Donkey Kong

If there are coins, if you shake the joycons you can use the coins as lines

Got to the Wooded Kingdom, prolly should've gone Lake but I didn't feel like dealing with a water level.

Kind of a step down from Sand and not a fan of the deep woods, prolly gonna clear this one ASAP and come back later.

I got the game Friday, but I don't really have time to no-life it. I'm about to go to Snow Kingdom for the first time.

I've been playing kingdoms by roughly following the story objectives and exploring side areas for more moons. Then when I finish the story stuff, I go exploring for more moons. I usually have to get hints for the last three moons in a level, because some of the things you have to do are so arbitrary, like (Metro spoilers) sitting next to a dude on a bench, or search a side path in the big glitzy festival that I thought was a one-off story moon

You know, I just thought about it, and the ending kind of reminds me of that Japanese-exclusive Mario special back in the 80's where Mario goes through all of that trouble to save Peach, and then finds out right at the end that Peach isn't really interested in him. lol.

I think Super Mario Odyssey is a great game that only got better as I kept playing it. At first, while I liked the atmosphere of each level, I wasn't feeling like the game was this absolutely amazing masterpiece, but I can safely say that this is the type of game that I will play over and over just because the game is a blast, even with its relatively short story.

3D Mario games are my favorite video games, with Super Mario Galaxy being my personal Best Game Ever, so I am glad that at least one series will not fail me.
