you put the sauce on the rice, its ez

and powdered sauce? just add water, like powder gravy...save 4 dollars lol, idgaf

i was a restaurant manager for like 4 years, worked my way up from the bottom..i can cook just fine and great but that takes time and $$$..if im just cooking up some late dinner to have some beers and fall asleep to UFC i dont go all out..im not trying to impress anyone so its pointless to go above and beyond

I get the idea, I just... eww lol. Admittedly, I'm completely spoiled when it comes to food and cooking is one of my favorite hobbies. Can't imagine a powdered sauce being anything but disappointing.

Cooking ain't that expensive, though. When I really want to splurge on groceries I spend like $120 for the week and get 18 meals plus snacks and drinks. If I wasn't too lazy to hit up multiple stores that could be cut down to under $100 pretty easily.

The time thing is a bitch, for sure. As much as I plan out meals and prep ahead of time I normally just end up just frying some meat and veggies and throwing it on rice.

Easy as hell bologonese sauce.

Cook a pound of ground meat

Dice 2 carrots, one onion, one red peppers, 2 celery stalks and 3 garlic cloves and cook down with olive oil until soft.

Add 2tbl of tomato paste and cook for a few minutes.

Deglaze with a little red wine.

Add meat back along with salt, pepper, oregano and basil.

Add tomatoes sauce to cover and cook down for a couple hours.

Boom, easy sauce.
