Because I fought back and the guy had some marks on him. Police say there is no witnesses and he claimed self defense so swept it under the rug.

Is there anything I can do or is this just the end

I got assaulted once and was told by police that if they arrested him they'd have to arrest me too, because I basically exchanged heated words with him before hand and didn't simply tuck my tail and run home.

but in your case. yeah lack of evidence will make it pretty hard for you. I had a broke tooth from my fight and couldn't do shit.

to clarify in my case I didn't call the cops. my mom did but since I was 18 I was the one who had to press charges if any where to be pressed.

the saddest part of the story was the other dudes father wanted him to get arrested over it. at least thats what he told my mom. he felt his kid was a lost cause but maybe spending some time in jail would teach him a lesson.

Mostly swung back on reaction I was trying to get away the entire time

I told the police there was video surveillance in the house but they didnt seem to want to arrest anyone, and without desire its not going to happen

If you both had marks then to them it looks like a fight. If you're complaining on a gaming forum about how you were "assaulted" that just tells me you got your ass kicked and want to whine so people feel sorry for you. Problem is, nobody here does.

Next time, win or lose, make sure they know they've been in a fight. Next time, don't whine on the internet about getting your ass kicked.

I don't keep track of who the trolls are to be honest. and to be fair I drink often, and will engage into conversation/debate with people I even know to be trolls when drinking.
