For the past few months. I have been smoking cigarettes regularly (2-3 a day) and I get no urge to eat. Even when I'm hungry, I eat a few peanuts and I feel full. I've heard smoking kills the urge. I have only eaten some peanuts and a few snacks this whole week. Should I be worried?

Smoking just satiates your need to consume things, it doesn't actually suppress appetite.
