How well paying is it? Although I'm sure if you live in one of the bigger cities Florida it's different, but as a whole Colorado is gonna be more expensive.
Do you like the feeling of crowds? Colorado is twice as big as Florida with a quarter of the population. What about politics? They're both swing states (although Trump took Florida and Hillary got Colorado). Do you like it hot? Colorado is gonna be a lot cooler, but there will be less humidity. View on marijuana? Cause uh, weed is legal. The altitude is higher so your lungs get stronger, giving you an advantage when you visit family in Florida. No hurricanes or tornadoes, slight chance of earthquakes and flooding, but you will probably get snowed in every now and then. I guess make a list of pros and cons and figure it out. That's a huge change imo. --- There are some things where I just bypass critical thinking. - ROD http://error1355.com/ce/Hinakuluiau.html ... Copied to Clipboard!

It's enough for a single man to live comfortably in either city, plus I get COLA so it does mitigate that slightly. Hinakuluiau posted... Do you like the feeling of crowds? I am not comfortable in the cold, but my ideal temp is around the 60s. I'm a republican who is dissatisfied with Trump. I have liberal and conservative friends, however. Sad_Face posted... Very dry compared to Florida and Dallas(where I moved from) As someone who didnt like the cold and being from Dallas, I have not found winter to be that bad. I was born and raised in Florida, and lived there for 21 years. I moved to Colorado from there, so, here are my thoughts..
Differences in temp aren't that big of an issue. Gets colder, sure, but its not too bad. The snow and ice during each winter is a pain in the arse though; and dear god I have never seen more conceited/self-entitled drivers than I did in Denver/Aurora. If you do make the move, be prepared to suffer from the sudden lack of humidity; for my first few months there, I couldn't live without a water bottle on hand. Just dried up so fast, it was miserable. Another thing that bothered me was the fact that I found almost no good places to eat in Denver/around Denver; at least nothing compared to places I found outside of Colorado. Every chain is so poor there, and only a few of the local places tend to be good for their prices. Aside from those things, and the fact that I hated about 80% of the people I met in Denver/Aurora, it wasn't a bad place. It wasn't for me though, so I was happy to get out of there around about 6 years. --- ... Copied to Clipboard!

What kind of weird taste buds do you have that there's no good food in Denver? Okay, the Mexican restaurants there are mostly terrible, but literally everything else tends to be great.
