The leader of the DNC also publicly denounces her in a recent book she wrote.

I actually wouldnt be against a Biden/Kasic union ticket... Im afraid of how many sexual assault claims will come pouring in over Biden though. He takes creepy to a whole new level around young blond girls

Donna Brazile is not involved with the DNC anymore and Elizabeth Warren never said anything negative about Clinton. She said she believed the DNC had rigged the primary against Bernie

Progressives will vote for anyone with a D next to their name and Kasich is possibly the most liberal Republican with any name recognition. He is dam near a carbon copy of a 1990s Democrat

Being a 1990s Democrat lost the election for Hillary Clinton in states where NAFTA is not looked upon fondly. Furthermore, Kasich's views on abortion will not pass muster for even moderate Democrats.

You mean Michigan? Maybe she should have actually stepped foot in the state instead of taking it for granted

There are quite a few pro-life Democrats in Congress."Moderate" means center of country. Not center of party. There are quite a few pro firearm Democrats as well.

My issue with Biden is that, while his rhetoric has been good, and I like the things he's saying, and the things he said during the 2016 election, his actions just don't add up to it.

Biden had 8 years and he didn't do a damn thing to support any of the rhetoric he's spouting now. Why give him 4 more when it's proven that it is just all talk. I'm sure he actually does believe those things he's saying, but he also has proven that he will just fall in with the political elite without a fuss.

Despite all his good talk, Biden would be just another Obamillary.

We just literally got through an election where a large number of progressives didn't vote for Hillary and Kasich is FAR from a "liberal Republican" and doesn't get credit as one for simply being against Trump.

Even if she went to the states she "ignored", being Michigan and Wisconsin, even if she wins both of them she STILL loses the election without winning PA or Florida. And lord knows she spent eons of time campaigning in both.

Anyways just because people are well known doesn't mean they're the only ones likely to run. My guess is the field is going to be open as hell and look a lot like the Republican one did coming in. The DNC recognizes that "anointing" someone like they basically did with Hillary will blow up again. And while I'm not claiming they'll be totally fair, they'll at least give the impression publicly they will. People like Sherrod Brown, Kamala Harris, Jeff Merkley, John Hickenlooper, Julian Castro, Chris Murphy, Martin O'Malley, Jason Kander, etc I fully expect to toss their name in the mix.
