It's better to wait for the Christmas event to get mana prisms. I linked a reddit post earlier in this thread I believe that explains it better than I could, but I wouldn't worry too much about farming them right now. Just focus on leveling Christmas event servants and getting mana prisms naturally without focusing on it.

Oh I'm almost at 70 apples actually. Also fully Ascended Herc

Well you get 288 AP per day. If you want to absolutely max out your prism output you do one run of the 40 (20) AP stage first, for 9 EXP Cards + 4 Prisms.

Now on 1/2 AP day that leaves you very close to 18 runs of the 30 (15) stage, which will give you 3 on the first run, and an average of 8 per run on top of that.

So you get like 160 Prisms if you're grinding that all day on these half AP days and not missing any AP.

Now personally what I'm doing as a compromise is.

- One run of each of the max difficulty stages for base of 12 prisms
- All the rest of the AP on the 15 AP Stage

Banking the gold EXP cards, burning the silver EXP cards. You only get about 5 per run of the 30(15) stage when you do that, so I'm getting more like 90 Prisms a day but I'm also getting EXP and some limited QP and class materials. Obviously if you wanted a reasonable estimate of these schemes on non half AP days just half all the Prism amounts but I don't intend to grind it on non half AP unless I'm close to the goal of 5000 Prisms and you shouldn't either.

This is what I always did. Got me up to ~3300 MPs. Next two events should take care of the rest.

Yeah I wasn't really farming them before this point because I thought Mona Lisa was further out so I only came in with like 320 Mana Prisms. I'm up to 450 now after spending a bunch on those grab bags (and wasting all of Saturday grinding the Assassin Stage because I wanted Kojirou to be 10/10/10) so I'm making decent progress. If the Christmas Event is as generous with prisms as it is said to be I should be okay for 5000 with maybe a little bit of work late.

Holy shit Herc is a Heart hog. I reached a point where he needs like 2 hearts per skill level up for each of his 3 skills. I don't really know if Guts is worth leveling up or not, but I only have 2 decent Berserkers anyways so I might as well use the gems on something

My impression is that it's ~2 Apples per lottery box, and each box is usable for 46MPs (or 66 if you burn Gold XP as well as Silver). You get some apples during Christmas too, so assuming you use 50 Apples, that'd be 1150 MPs (plus the boxes you get from natural AP regen). I dunno, maybe my numbers are off? It's definitely a nice boost (especially keeping in mind that the next two events have ~1000 MPs each), but it wouldn't be enough to MLB Mona Lisa on its own.

Christmas event gets you tons of stuff. It's the best place to use apples in general.

I mean if you're doing it just for MP apples on the daily is still actually a very slight bit better looking at the rates Mac gave (I can get 9 runs of the 30 AP stage off two apples which would give more than 46 Prisms) but the Christmas event gives you a bunch of a ton of different things so it's not actually a waste of AP to do it, that's sort of the thing.
