Is it possible to beat Odyssey without jumping?
No. The game forces you to jump in a couple instances.

Is it possible to beat Odyssey without making MARIO jump? That's a better question. B]

Specifically, using the jump button while directly controlling Mario is banned. If we need vertical elevation, we must either make sole use of cappy and air dives, or find a capture target that is capable of the elevation we need.


Any jumping as a capture doesn't count for the challenge or the tally you can see after beating the game. 100% is out though.

After beating the game, you can get extra moons by hitting certain records like X coins, X jumps, etc.

i don't get how you can pass the part when you lose your hat and have to get it back. you have to jump to get your hat back.

I think you can throw cappy as someone mentioned and run into it making Mario "jump" and then land on them

But there is a part in the game where a bird steals his hat and you have to get it back

You can go around the area using some stuff on the left, and then get over to the bird without triggering the event.
