There's three that can do the job

That dark elf lady from vanilla
Vampire babe from dawnguard
That mercenary dark elf from dragonborn (plus the skaal girl but she's only temporary iirc)

Can't remember names right now. But basically, battle mages are the only ones worth using.

I accidentally made Lydia borderline invincible as a side effect of a mod and she became a one man army

I couldn't even kill her and I have mods that allow me to disintegrate people just by looking at them

i was aiming at one dude she was fighting and i used Unrelenting Force

it sidesteps the enemy, hits her and kills Lydia

That's why I just park them outside the dungeon entrance, and dump all the loot onto them when I'm done and ready to move on.

Oh. Mjoll is a nice option too if you marry her. Essential NPC status so she will never die. Can get endlessly trapped, mostly an issue with the hearthfire homes

The only one I liked was Barbas from the Clavicus Vile quest. He's an invincible talking dog with weak attacks but he's good for distracting enemies. The main reason I like him is really because he's a doggo. You just can't complete the quest or else you lose him.

You need the "Back Off, Barbas" mod to not have him in your back pocket the entire time though.
