Speaking of the Saints defense, I think we're fairly beyond the point where we can say they're anything special.

Minnesota/New England/Detroit/Washington/LAR have all torched them. Most of the teams they've held down (Dolphins, Bills, Bears, Packers without Rodgers, Buccaneers) aren't particularly good on offense. They've been lit up by every decent or better team they've played except for the Panthers, and I'm not sure how good the Panthers actually are.

Also the decision to kick the field goal that made me stop watching apparently reduced the Saints' chances to win by a fair margin. Good call Payton.
