The carving station is usually turkey and some sort of beef(occasionally a ham makes its way on). No one eats the turkey. The beef goes in like 10 minutes. The same turkey will be sitting there for an hour or til its deemed old and inedible and has to be replaced. The only people usually taking the turkey are usually women pushing maybe 90 pounds that were forced to be there. It is not anyone's meat of choice but on the one day of the year you are expected to have a big meal your option is turkey? Nothing special. Give me a roast beef or glazed ham any day for a special occasion. I'm trying to lobby for one of those being made this Christmas over yet another boring turkey.
