No one is forcing you to participate in Black Friday. Corporations and their marketing departments just want you to give them more money. They want you to continue the cultural trend of buying cheaply-made goods at "discounted prices" that were manufactured in third-world countries for pennies on the dollar. All they care about is the masses buying material objects so their stocks rise and their CEOs can continue to drink champagne in their gold-rimmed glasses while they fly around in their luxury planes to their next golfing excursion.

If you want to do any shopping this weekend, consider shopping at small family-owned businesses on Saturday, November 25th, also known as Small Business Saturday. Hell, you don't even have to wait until Saturday and only Saturday. Feel free to shop there anytime. The owners will appreciate you for it, as your hard-earned money will help them feed, clothe, and shelter their own families.

Or not. It's cool no matter what you do. As long as you don't rape, murder, jaywalk in the street, or merge without using your turn signals - that's bad and you should feel bad.

Well, this makes me want to merge with the wrong turn signal, while crossing the road not at an inserectiom and murdering a rapist while buying stuff on amazon with my phone. While I expose myself to a bus full of nuns.
