Thought he was about the only good thing in DD S2, but I've also thought the last 2.5 of the Netflix Marvel shows were hot garbage.

Nah I just rewatched DD S1 recently and it's legitimately fucking great. So was JJ.
The hand arc just really took a shit on the shows though but luckily that's over now.so I'm hoping they'll get good again.

It's equal with Daredevil season 1, IMO.

I have issues with it as an adaptation of The Punisher, but overall it's very enjoyable. Far more than the other Netflix or ABC shows.

Everyone else idgaf about, and I felt the series started strong but burnt out quickly. Jon Bernthal is great tho, he really is.

I didn't really click with it until around episode 8. It had a lot of middle episodes building up a very generic plot. Also, a lot of time spent building up Frank's almost romance with Daniel's wife that obviously couldn't ever go anywhere.

when it hits it hits pretty hard (the last few eps especially are great, but theres so much useless filler and boring sub plots. it feels like a 6-8ep series padded out to 13 unfortunately. its still worth watching, but be prepared for a good amount of down time.

Yeah, they did spend a bit too much time on that. Still good overall.

I really liked it.

I can see the criticisms of it being a bit of a slog, but I didn't mind very much, since it was all stuff I liked anyway.

His relationship with Micro was amazing.

Always liked Jon Bernthal since he was Shane on TWD and I love anything that has to do with Marines. So the show was a hit for me. Although I found the plot a little boring at times, especially anything that had to do with that female special agent. And no, I didn't think she was THAT hot..
