Counter to the stereotype of the holier-than-thou meat-shunner, I've never encountered a vegetarian or vegan who would proselytize about their views, but I've known quite a few meat eaters who will take any opportunity to talk smack about those who don't eat meat. At Thanksgiving my brother was all like, "Man, imagine if we had a vegan in the family. Ugh. That would be so annoying. They wouldn't be able to eat anything. I wouldn't want to deal with a vegan."

All the vegans I personally know are super chill about it. So are the meat-eaters.

I'm not a vegan, but when you attempt to narrow it down, everyone is a hypocrite or a moron, including me. Eating a burger makes me feel better than knowing where it came from makes me feel sad, simple as that.

Wouldn't you be mad if you were the microscopic demographic that made sense? Maybe it wouldn't be the case if farm animals weren't kept in farms that would make Hitler wish he'd thought of that.

Cos us meat eaters are top o the food chain, by becoming vegan you loose this status and just become more meat for the rest of us

I'm not a big meat eater.

I enjoy it though, a lot, when I have some. A big bloody roast, juicy home made hamburgers, melt in your mouth filet mignon, full rack of tender sweet bbq ribs, a dozen finger licking wings, fried chicken, big salty ham steak. Oh yeah bacon, can't forget that one. And of course the meat based sauces and gravy that just make all meat dishes that much better.

So with that said, when I explain my dietary habits, about eight out of ten people get their mind blown.

"How can you pass a day without having any meat?"
"You don't get enough protein!"
"We only eat meat at our home ::huff puff::"
"So I guess you don't like butter on your corn?"

I think it's why I'm not morbidly obese like the majority of the people I see everywhere, maybe

Well, there's probably a reason for that. There are just many more meat eaters in general, so even both sides have the same amount of "high and mighties", you would run into more people who can't stand vegan/vegetarians than you would those that can't stand people who eat meat.
