Like the guy who says "it's not really a big deal" when he just broke a world record or something, and your impression isn't that he's modest but rather he's trying really hard to appear modest.

I don't mean smug or cocky. Something much more specific.

Something kind of like humblebrag but a more established word that has less to do with the act of bragging and more to do with the entire attitude of the person.
