I don't drink very much as I'm playing sport after work several nights a week, but I do enjoy a nice relaxing drink to chill with a movie at home or whatever. My wife's the same.

you could probably count on one hand the number of drinks I've had since April. it's definitely been a few weeks since I've had one

I do enjoy beer though. and sometimes wine

Honestly Ive slowed down a looot.
I dont like how it changed my attitude and Im not even aware of it when Im drunk.

Got lots of aquintances and some friends who want me to drink on my 21st so Im going to do that just to not disappoint everyone

I only drink socially, so almost never. I also don't see why people would drink for the taste. I had an IPA that tasted like dirt. I had a scotch neat, and it tasted like the way my mouth did after receiving a saline drip. Coronas are the only inoffensive drink I've had.

I usually have a single pint of beer when i'm at a pub that has a bistro, with my steak/ chicken parmigiana, chips, salad and mushroom sauce. I don't go very often cos it is expensive.

I also have moderate IBS (Irratable bowl Syndrome). So my Doctor advise me to try and avoid Alcohol if i could. Having one, every once in a while with a meal won't hurt me.

Despite that, i am interest in cooking with alcohol and making interesting combinations with it; Such as Skittles Vodka. I just got to find a lot of people who are willing to try it out for me.

Basically, not a fan of the taste. And with the alcoholism that ran through both sides of the family, I don't want to play with that fire of drinking alone.

Not that I never drink. I'll have a drink 1-2 times a year when the mood strikes me. Like a really hot day, order from Red Robin, and a beer sounds good while waiting at the bar for my food.

I've also tried various types of alcohol and they all tasted nasty to me anyway. I don't see how anyone can drink to the point of getting drunk. I could barely get past the first sip.

I generally dissuade youthful exuberance, but I have to say YES on this. For my twenty-first, I went home to be with my parents and buy my first alcohol at the local liquor store. My best buddy (twenty-three) bought the booze for me because he was excited about my birthday, failing to realize the 'naughtiness' of buying it was exactly the point of the ritual.

When we got home, the neighbor kid came over (fourteen years old), so I felt weird about drinking in front of her and ended up asleep on the couch at 10:00 while she and my parents watched the Olympics.

Have a great time on your birthday, TC! Eat hearty pasta the afternoon before with a multivitamin, drink water during, eat cheeseburgers the morning after.

I drank a lot during high school and college, and pretty much stopped around when I got into law school. I just stopped enjoying being drunk. Or rather, I realized I never liked being drunk, but I enjoyed the party atmosphere. Get fifty people in a house and get smashed because that what you do when you're young and stupid.

Every two years or so, I'll get drunk once or twice during the winter, but that's it. Even that's only because my friends will bother me for a while about wanting to see "drunk me", and then they get disappointed because the only difference between me sober and me absolutely smashed is I sing a lot.
