Yesterday I ended up reading Vincent's page on the FF Wiki, and there was a part of something called Post-Crisis or something about Red XIII and Vincent. They were talking, and Red said he's going to be sad, since he'll outlive all the other party members and will be all alone, and Vincent comforted him by saying he's immortal so they'll always have each other, and they agree to meet up every year from then on. Not gonna lie, that boosted my opinion of Vincent a bit, lol.

There were a bunch of FFVII novellas that came out in conjunction with Advent Children to sort of "fill in the gaps" in the backstory of what happened between the end of FFVII and AC, but they're not very well known because I think most of them were never localized. That Red XIII story is pretty good. He has an existential crisis due to his unique nature and ridiculous longevity, and he actually gives it a name: "Gilligan." --- ... Copied to Clipboard!
