Because my post was clearly bragging. People often brag about things they can't or don't do. That makes sense.

The way you said it seemed humble braggish to me. Even if it wasn't, I still think the people who do absolutely nothing in gym are lame. They barely make you work physically, yet some kids think it's more fun to just sit there the whole period

Not at all. My didn't, and I think it's weird when people say they had swim class. I've seen pools in movies at high schools and know of one in the yuppie school a couple towns over but I've never experienced one. Also, no one ever showered.

A kid in HS tried sayin he wouldn't shower cuz I was gay an he didn't wanna me starring. He looked like the boards poster Muscles. Bein gay doesn't mean my taste goes out the window ffs.

I don't claim to be cool. I've always been thin, but I've never been in-shape. I didn't do much in gym because I'd get tired too fast and that sucks. I also lost almost all ability to sweat with puberty, so I'd overheat and nearly pass out. It sucked. I've never run a mile in my life because I am incapable of doing that.

Schools no longer use the showers, ignore the old people here.

I haven't read all the other post yet, but I never did it school. And I was on the wrestling team. And always had a gym class. That being said, I thought it was more common in school in other countries oddly enough.

We had to shower after gym class at my high school. Right off the locker room was a large room full of showers. After we finished they'd give us a towel to dry off. Wasn't a big deal.

The towels they gave us were really thin and small, it would be soaking wet after just drying our hair. We did have a couple of hand blowers in the bathroom part of the locker room that we'd finish drying off with.

We had hair dryers as well, probably about 20 of them. I don't remember our towels as being thin just that they only gave us one, which we used on our hair. Hair dryers were mounted on the wall so we'd dry off while drying our hair then go get dressed for class.

I was pretty dorky in high school but I still participated in gym. I also don't have some of weird sweating condition though. That must suck

My school couldn't afford a swimming pool. We could barely afford enough school. And we couldn't afford the extra school our twin school had.
