But it's also likely that he's commenting on "Anti-Bullying Laws", which by nature would be vague and easily interpreted as "Anyone with different opinions or criticism of my actions is a bully and needs to be arrested!"

What Is Trolling?

Trolling is the act of posting inflammatory or inappropriate messages or comments on the internet. The main purpose of which is to upset the recipient and get a response from them.

So many things wrong with this. What even is "inflammatory and inappropriate"? This is incredibly subjective. "To upset the recipient." Yes, a lot of people can't handle varying opinions and get upset. Tough. "and get a response from them." Literally the purpose of any and all conversation. How is getting a response a bad thing?

In most cases the person trolling will hide behind a face social media account, to try and disguise their identity.

The very nature of the internet SHOULD provide anonymity by default. It SHOULD be recommend to provide as little personally identifiable information to strangers as possible.

Looks like his court appearance is online. I will watch it tomorrow, because it is late and the video looks long and boring.

I'm also assuming these old people have no idea what "trolling" means and why they shouldn't be using the word that way.

Count Dankula was arrested and is standing trial. Another man was sentenced to 8 months in prison for a T-shirt slogan.

These people could actually be considered political prisoners. There was no actual crime committed. They are only being jailed over a legal guideline, not even a law. A legal guideline which I gather they would be critical of.
