Do you use one?

Also are you doing anything else to protect your cryptos?

You should have paper wallets. Preferably some hidden in your own home and some in another location where you have a high degree of trust they won't be stolen.

That's fine, but hardware can fail. I would always have paper wallets.

recovery seed

I assume you mean the 24 word recovery phrase?

You can use this to recover if the device fails?

correct

you can also make hidden wallets so if god forbid you were robbed and they took your recovery phrase along with your wallet they couldn't get into the wallet that actually has the coins if you set up the 25th word

I'd say using a paper wallet along with an offline wallet it the most secure, yet still versatile.

Always, always write down your seed no matter what though.

You just have to use that 24 recovery seed, get a new device and type it in and it will restore your wallets

Plug in the device and say it is not a new device and then it will ask you for your 24 word seed so you put it in and then it restores the wallets

From local data on your machine?

Or data off a server?

I thought the idea was to be off the internet?

Edit: sorry for the stoopid questions.
