I work in 'premium care' at the bank I work for. Basically it means the same quality of service, but we only talk to the wealth clients who have our private extension. So essentially 'premium' is just a word used to make people feel special.

Negative. First thing I think when I hear premium is either insurance payments or shit that's going to cost extra which half the time should have been part of the original package. Fuck that word.

Seriously? Huh.

Why the surprise? The things it applies to are usually the most transitory, superficial trash that has gained the passing attention of the lowest common denominator of people.

Personally I think "Premium" just means something is seen as prestigious only because it's expensive and is likely over priced for that purpose alone.

I'd say no and only because how it can mean different things depending on usage. Majority of the time I see it as referring to what we pay for insurances but it could also refer to the quality of something.

Premium often implies P2W, so no.
