problem is you had to act on it and you didnt. I acted on a few and ended up going on dates with em, almost 100% success rate when I was straightforward and tried.

I got a few different emails from japanese girls, in college. both exchange students here, and one time, from a girl I met in Japan when I was on a trip there. I never tried emailing them, and they never emailed me. so we just never talked again. I kinda wish I had gotten something going with the girl I met in Japan. she was really cute and she seemed into me. But maybe we were both too shy to start a conversation

I never got any fake numbers, but I got two from people that were ultimately not interested.

There's some automated fake number hotline that gives you a speech about how you just got blown off. One girl gave me that and said I had to call it, but that it was fake and to still call the real one that she also gave me. She was adorably awkward about it the entire time and it was easily my favourite "number get" ever because it was funny. Second place was a girl writing one in huge numbers on my arm at a restaurant (in permanent marker) when I was wearing a t-shirt.
