I've had my Switch about a month and a half now, and I've been really impressed.

It seems like all the best content in the gaming world is getting created for this system. Two solid GotYs in one year, with a plethora of other good games. Nintendo has really been nailing it.

So far, I've played Odyssey(almost to 100%), Golf Story, and a little bit of Zelda.

I've barely scratched the surface of Zelda, as I'm only about 15 hours in and haven't beaten any dungeons, so I'll probably play that some next. I'm also kinda hyped about XC2 though so I'm considering impulse-buying that.

Also, Golf Story is one of the best 2d overhead golf RPGs I've ever played.

Had it since launch but never got to play it as much, lately I've had more time. Get Mario Kart 8 and Mario Rabbids is pretty cool.

Odyssey is imo hands down the best 3D Mario to date, amazing!

Got the Splatoon 2 bundle about 1 month or so ago. Only have a few games right now...Xenoblade 2, Splatoon 2 and FE Warriors.

The Mario Odyssey main story was basically just walking through the levels. It was fun, but it's nothing compared to when you go back in post-game and really get to bite into the content.

Exploring is the core of the game, and I personally didn't do a ton of that in my main story run.

Moons #500-700 have been my favourite portion of the game so far.

Infinite, but the counter maxes at 999. To max it out coupled with all he other moons you only have to buy 120 or so however.

It wasn't really clear how exactly the mechanic worked when you first beat the game. It really needed to be explained more.

It'll actually slow down your progress in 100%ing the game by a lot if you waste all your gold on moons.

Luckily I had a very large amount and was able to afford it and all but the most expensive thing for sale.

I bought about 3000 gold worth of power moons initially, so I'm in the exact same situation you are. Didn't set me back too much, since there's a LOT of content to go and you're going to gain plenty more gold.

3000 gold isn't that much in the grand scope of the game.

I'm currently at like 760-770 moons, including the 30 ones I bought. So I've got about 130 uniques left to get.

I'm at home now and I kinda wish I did.

Bethesda must've used black magic to get DOOM running on Switch as component as it is. Obviously, the PC version will always be superior, but considering the Switch's power is equivalent to last gen machines, it's a technical marvel.

Yeah, I wouldn't personally play Doom or Skyrim on my Switch, but it's pretty crazy how well they adapted it.

Animal Crossing is just begging for a Switch release. I see AC like Pokmon: Both series' are designed and suited more for on-the-go. Being able to seamlessly put your town or Pokmon on the big screen to show everyone is something 10 year old me could only dream of.

(I know Pokmon Stadium existed, but I'm talking about Switching (har) between two modes instantaneous without clunky 90's technology.)

The handheld mode resolution for XB2 is really perplexing. I don't think I've ever played a game where the resolution goes up and down multiple times in a single battle.

I think an AC will probably come. I don't know if we'll see it in 2018.

AC is the type of game that you want to play everyday and it's focused on long-term progression and building. That's basically the same template that most mobile games use.

I got 500 Power Moons and am now on the Darker Side of the Moon. I'm pretty sure something important is happening. Like a Bowser Rematch maybe.

You just beat the game and now you're beating the final stage?

Also, that's a hell of a level, so enjoy. I'm embarrassed to say how long it took me to beat that behemoth of a final level.

Well, I beat it with like 330 power moons. 335? And bought like 30. I dunno, I'm efficient at moon collection? I've been to less than half the worlds since beating it.

The final level took me 5 hours of playtime, across three sittings, to beat. Split up 2/2/1 hours wise.

I refused to quit.

And yeah, that's a lot of moons to have at the end of main story. I had about 175, and you only need 124.

Not trying to be a douche but Darker Side was by far the easiest final level in any Mario tbh. I (no joke) beat it on my first try. I also got pretty lucky and haven't beaten it since lmao
