They RNG plenty of awoken abilities, most notorious of which is Ace. Now he has the chance to mitigate just as much physical damage (which he's likely to be taking more of since he is protecting allies from it anyways) as he does magical damage.

I don't know if I could get heavily invested into another gacha game after FFBE. I tried FEH and FGO, and though I like their premises, being free to play with gacha was hard enough on FFBE and I realized I couldn't invest myself anymore. I am invested in FFBE, and have lots to work with, I just don't have the time and mental energy to free to play my way through another gacha, and I've never paid to play mobile, and don't have any plans to ever start.

Correct on both counts.

It is called Grindblue Fantasy for a reason, but I love the characters and story enough to endure.
And yea...some of those friendly things came because they kinda overreached themselves a bit. Still worth it in the end, though.

How much of a difference is 1116 and 1154 attack? I used my 100% moogle on Sworn Six Pride - Dark and that was the change in attack for my A2 switching out the Brave Suit and Quick Assault for Demon Mail (best attack heavy armor?) and SSP-D.

I'm just worried that my A2 was probably doing just fine with 1116 attack, and that I should have gotten something defense oriented instead for my tank or healer.

Idolmaster Cinderella Girls: Starlight Stage is doing this as well (though not so much on the free in-game currency), and guess who else developed that game? Cygames.

That said, it still didn't prevent me from going 7 10-pulls and only getting 1 SSR out of them despite the 6% rate.

I could make a case that the mobile rhythm games I play are more grindy than FFBE since those require constant playing if you care about event rankings, and it's like you have to focus on playing if you want to play well. Some of them barely have any breaks in-between events.

But the trade-off is that you don't need to worry about management as much and meta doesn't really matter unless you care about getting high scores.

Well my first attempt went decently even though I lost. I had him down to 26%. My big problem was Mystea, even at full health with a revive, would die twice to megaflare. She also kept getting paralyzed, though I think Ayaka dualcasting Esunaga with healing should be able to cover that.

The second time, I got Bahamut down to 10%. I think what is stopping me now is my damage output. I have my Veritas of the Dark with the best equipment I have and with Odin, and the best Orlandu friend I can find as my damage dealers. It's just not quite enough, I'm bringing Soleil but only her SPR/DEF dance is enhanced.

Didn't you have Fryevia? She's awesome for Bahamut. If you bring Rikku along and fire off her limit, Fry is hard to kill. The first megaflare goes through, I shall not lose activates, she gets revived, and it will activate a second time. Eliminates the need for a one shot Garnet. This is all assuming that he doesn't fall to a pair of Frost Flower Blitzes first turn.

They are that much stronger. Orlandeau/DV can't really touch a pair of good Fry's, especially now that everybody can perfect chain. I've tested it with Orlandeau/DV and DV/DV etc with near max values, and it's not even close.

Never underestimate the power of super hybrid chaining, and never overestimate the damage of the DR tree. When you need a very fast kill, Fry is still the way to go. If you have 4 turns to setup, that's when TT takes over.

It's not even there. I was running these tests against the training dummy. Granted, I'm just assuming that thing has equal SPR and DEF, I never bothered to actually check it though.
