I called a a few weeks ago, they lit the pilot, it worked for like a day, then it wasnt too cold outside, now it's been cold, i have a space heater, but my electric is obviously higher.

Called thursday, they said they relit the pilot and cycled the furnace.

By Friday night it was out again.

Should I call again, or try lighting the pilot myself.

If my house's heater suddenly stopped working, I would call an HVAC technician to come and fix the furnace. It'll probably cost like $1000 for the "emergency" service call.

If there's been this many issues, I would call HVAC and give your landlords the bill. I would also give them less rent money for your increased electric.

When did I realize I was God? Well, I was praying and I suddenly realized I was talking to myself.
